Day 2 Central Serengeti - Birding enroute

Day 3 Serengeti to Speke’s Bay
Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti, with a focus on birding and encountering the magnificent big game. As the day unfolds, you’ll head west towards Speke’s Bay on Lake Victoria, arriving late in the evening. Prepare for a night surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the lake.

Day 4 Speke’s Bay - Full Day Exploration
Spend the entire day immersed in the wonders of Speke’s Bay and Lake Victoria. Delight in the unique birdlife and the serene ambiance of this picturesque location. It’s a day of discovery and appreciation for the natural splendor that the area has to offer.

Day 5 Ndutu - Transfer to the Plains
Transition to the Ndutu plains, anticipating an enchanting landscape teeming with wildlife. The short grassy plains are particularly renowned during the calving season, offering a remarkable opportunity to witness vast herds of wildebeest. Keep an eye out for big cats, eagles, and vultures amidst the thriving ecosystem.

Day 6 Ndutu - Full Day Exploration
Immerse yourself in the captivating beauty of Ndutu plains for a full day. The calving season promises a spectacle of life, with wildebeest and their young scattered across the grasslands. This is an optimal time for encountering not only the iconic wildebeest but also the predators and scavengers that follow in their wake.

Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater
An early departure from Ndutu takes you to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater floor. Explore the lakes, marshy areas, and forests within the crater, encountering diverse birdlife. After lunch, journey towards the SE side of the crater rim, exiting via Lemala Gate. Your route takes you slowly to your accommodations, with an evening arrival.

Day 8 Tarangire NP - Endemic Birding and Return to Arusha
Engage in birding to spot the few endemics that call Tarangire National Park home. The park’s resident elephants add to the allure. As the day winds down, transfer back to Arusha for an overnight stay, concluding your wildlife and birding expedition through the diverse landscapes of Tanzania.
